A glossary earns its place when a word decides a peso result. This casino terms glossary covers eight words that appear in game rules and promotion terms, and it flags where each is misread. On a PHWIN game screen, the three you will meet most often are RTP, volatility and wagering.
Casino Terms Glossary: Eight Words, One Line Each
| Term | Plain meaning | Common misreading |
|---|---|---|
| RTP | Long-run share of stakes returned | “It is the chance I win today” |
| Volatility | How uneven the wins are | “High volatility pays more often” |
| Payline | A traced line of positions that pays | “More lines means better odds” |
| Bet unit | The base amount a game multiplies | “The number shown is my spin cost” |
| Wagering | Stake needed before bonus funds convert | “It is the same as the bonus” |
| Game weighting | Share of a stake that counts toward wagering | “Every game counts fully” |
| Max win | Stated ceiling for one outcome | “What I should expect” |
| Scatter | Symbol that pays anywhere | “It needs to sit on a line” |
No JILI game page carries an RTP figure, which makes any percentage quoted for a JILI title an estimate. PG Soft prints it, for example 96.92% for Mahjong Ways.

Bet Unit and Game Weighting in Pesos
Think of a bet unit as the base figure that the game multiplies. In a fixed 20-line game, a unit of ₱1 per line means one spin costs ₱20, not ₱1. A balance of ₱200 then lasts ten spins, and the player who read the unit as the spin cost expected two hundred.
Game weighting turns a bonus term into arithmetic. Suppose a promotion’s terms say a game counts at a stated share toward wagering. A ₱100 stake on that game then moves the requirement by that share of ₱100, not the full amount. The terms print the shares; the glossary can only tell you to find them.
- Check if the stake you set counts per line or per spin.
- Multiply by the line count if per line.
- Find the weighting for the game type in the promotion’s terms.
- Apply the share to your stake to see the progress.

| Risk | High | Wrong units drain a balance fast |
Where the Other Terms Are Explained
Paylines, volatility and bankroll each have their own article. Read payline basics for lines and ways, how slot volatility works for the swing of a game, and bankroll rules for stakes and stops. The casino blog index lists the rest.
Account steps are on a returning player’s login and the register steps for new players, the app setup on a phone page covers phone shortcuts, and casino GCash changes explains wallet routes.

Terms That Hide Inside Promotion Text
Wagering, turnover, rollover and playthrough are names for the same idea in different documents. Weighting, contribution and counting rate are also close cousins. When a term is new, look for the definition in the promotion’s own terms before you accept it, and do not assume the lobby’s meaning matches another site’s.
