The same hand can be played correctly at one table and wrongly at the next. Why Power Blackjack Plays Differently
Remove every 9 and 10 from eight decks and the shoe loses 64 cards. The picture cards stay, so tens are still plentiful, while two of the usual middle values are gone. Taking those cards out changes how often each total turns up, which is why strategy built for a standard shoe needs rethinking.
The doubling rules matter just as much. At Power you can go Double, Triple or Quadruple Down on your opening two cards, and a split does not take that away. A bigger down means a bigger stake on one decision, so a player who is not ready for that should leave the option alone.
Infinite is built the other way: unlimited seats and Six Card Charlie, a rule that Power drops. Lightning keeps the table simple and adds a multiplier on a win. Read which one you are at before the first card, since the same chip is worth different things on each.

One more habit helps across all of them. Before the first hand, say out loud which side bets you are skipping, and keep the main bet the same size for the first ten rounds. It is a boring rule, and it stops a Triple Down from arriving by accident at a table where the stake climbed without you noticing.
